Welcome! Whether you’ve stumbled here from my regular web presence as an amateur triathlete or whether you’re visiting in search of technology resources, you’ll find a common theme woven throughout this site as it has been interwoven throughout my entire life: I’m in the business of transformation.
My journey began as a college graduate working in my first job as a copyeditor for a national youth organization. After spending two years writing, I taught mathematics, science, web design, and business for 11 years in public education. This latest version, My Career 3.0, is in the field of human performance where I’m part of an instructional design group that develops learning solutions. Interestingly enough, most of my co-workers are graduates of the EDTEC program.
This site represents my continual transformation in learning. It’s one of the capstone projects in my second graduate degree, a Master’s in Educational Technology earned from San Diego State University. This five-year transformation has resulted in several artifacts, the evidence of my personal and professional development. As you explore my portfolio, take note of my lifelong love of learning, a hallmark of instructional designers and performance technologists.
I recently added a new section called Projects. This section highlights my key accomplishments as a manager and leader.
